If it was up to us, all the best design in the world would be posted within the Parfois Portfolio. But it's not up to us. Stumbling the web we often bump into things worth sharing. The world wide web is so full off great things that will never end up in our portfolio, but which we want the world to see. For this we created our blog. At this moment there are 4 of us blogging on a regular basis. Work, studies and social life makes that there are weeks with a lot of posts, and weeks without. But we'll do our best in bringing you the nicest shit on a acceptable basis.
As a child I owned a remote controlled car! ¬†not just a remote controlled car, but one I had to build myself. It was way to expensive for a 10 year old, and at this day I still believe it went 60 km/u, blazing fast… But the car got old and my interests in remote controlled cars disappeared. Today I came across the website of the Dutch photographer Jan Dirk Van Der Burg, he has some beautiful series with one thing in common. They are all about life as it is. Read on for more pictures and text.
Ron English is the first artist to be discussed in the Parfois Undressed section. From today we are going to undress several artists. We start with our personal favorites. Trying to explain why we like them, and what makes them special for us. So we kick off with Ron English, read on for my story, more pictures, and even a song.

Sometimes surreal. Directed, Modelling РTexturing РIllumination РRendering, Postproduction & Editing, Sound Design by Alex Roman. Done with 3dsmax, Vray, AfterEffects and Premiere.
It takes a while, but it’s worth it. And if you have a mac (or a good computer) be sure to watch it full screen!
The Bubblegum chair and table are made to sit great and stand out of every environment. Starting from the perfect ergonomic sitting standard of a 110 degree angle to provide maximum comfort. This angle comes back in the legs of the table and the seat. To give it a sense of artificiality in order to stand out of the environment it is placed in, it is completely constructed in one of the most artificial materials, polyester. To add to this feeling the furniture is pigmented with a ‘reddish’ pink, with a slight difference between the chair and table.
A lot of people end the year with lists. You see them everywhere, in magazines, internet, newspapers… As the end of 2009 was a really busy time for the Parfois crew, I would like to start 2010 with a list. The 10 most read posts on our blog. Click the read more button if your interested.
As you may have noticed, we’ve updated the Parfois Blog. After a long day of work, we managed to insert some important sharing icons, as you can see on the bottom of every post. We’ve integrated some slogans in the header of the blog, made a little hide/show info button on top, updated the about page and author page. Apart from this, we added a mouse-over function to the menu, made it easier for you to flip through the pages by adding page number on the bottom and uploaded some new backgrounds. These eight new backgrounds where made by Angelo Wellens. He made these analogue pictures on his vacation to London, click read more to view them all. We hope you enjoy the new improvements, if you have any questions or remarks, let us know!

All furniture and installations got their place, the paintings went on the walls and the champagne got poured out. Thanks everybody for dropping¬†by and if u haven’t seen it or want to stop by again, the exposition is still open to the public till the 17th of January. Click here for more information.
